Wasatch Business Series February Lunch
$20 includes networking, presentation and lunch.
It is time for the first lunch of the year for the Wasatch Business Series (WBS). The WBS is a collaboration of the Holladay, LGBTQ+, Murray, Sugarhouse, and South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Millcreek Business Council and the Utah Independent Business Coalition (UIBC). Our goal is to bring exciting business tips and tricks while networking with some new great people from the various organizations. Last year, at our largest event, we had 250 business people attend.

Chief problem solver, lead marketing genius, financial whiz… Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats. But the right business apps can make your life much easier – and help make your business more profitable. The problem is, there are thousands of apps to consider. Which ones are best for small businesses like yours? For answers to that and other questions about free resources for small businesses that the Salt Lake City Public Library offers, join us for “Essential Apps & Business Resources” on Feb. 25th from noon to 1:30pm.
This Wasatch Business Series lunch event begins with a brief discussion on how to weed through the seas of business apps to find the right one for your needs in a variety of areas including:
- Accounting and finance
- Inventory management
- POS and payments
- Time tracking and team management
- Customer relationship management
- Project management and organization
Next, Barbara Chavira with the Salt Lake City Library will guide us through the many valuable free resources that the library offers for small businesses. This includes the many resources for doing market research and classes for learning key business software.
Finally, we’ll take a brief tour of the library’s Creative Lab, which has a multitude of free resources to help you market your business.
Come enjoy a great lunch and learn how to get the best apps and resources to help your business grow in 2020!
Admission is $20/person and ticket must be purchased early as this event is limited to 60 attendees and tickets will sell out.
This event is hosted by the Utah Independent Business Coalition, the Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber, and The Salt Lake City Public Library.
