The Chamber is seeking a Chamber Impact Partner Development Representative to support corporate membership growth through business development and relationship building. This is a commission-based role, with flexible hours. This role is ideal for someone who is well-connected in the business community and interested in generating additional income by connecting corporations with Chamber membership opportunities.

The successful applicant will enjoy and contribute to our nonprofit mission-driven team environment by displaying integrity and dependability; and will be resourceful, creative, flexible, and goal-oriented.

The Chamber Impact Partner Development Representative is responsible for identifying, contacting, and securing for the Chamber new large business and corporate members (Chamber Impact Partners). 

This is a commission-only independent contractor role focused on business development and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and prospect potential large business and corporate members

- Conduct outreach via email, phone, networking, and events

- Present the benefits of Chamber membership to prospective organizations

- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective Chamber Impact Partners

- Coordinate with Chamber leadership regarding membership packages and pricing

- Assist with onboarding new corporate members

- Maintain records of outreach and membership status

- Represent the Chamber professionally in the business community

Qualifications

- Experience in sales, business development, fundraising, and/or membership organizations preferred

- Strong networking and relationship building skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Self-motivated and able to work independently

- Familiarity with corporate giving is a plus

Compensation

A Chamber Impact Partner is a business of any size (typically a larger business or corporation) which joins the Chamber at a level within the annual dues range of $2,500 - $25,000. Current Chamber impact partners are listed at https://www.utahlgbtqchamber.org/join-now/. The Chamber Impact Partner Development Representative will be compensated (commission-only) at rate of 10% of the annual dues paid by each new Chamber Impact Partner secured by the representative.
